Message of Congratulations from Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna in Sri Lanka

 

We, on behalf of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (People's Liberation Front - JVP) of Sri Lanka, would like to extend to the 1st Party Congress of the Communist Party of Indonesia to be held in Jakarta on 17th and 18th of June 2016 and to all members of the party, our warmest congratulations and express our delight that the party has been persistently pursuing Marxism-Leninism despite it was crushed three times in fifty years - most terribly and tragically following the events of September 30th 1965.

 Vicious white terror unleashed by the Suharto-Nasution fascist military regime carried out the order of its master, U.S. imperialism, that killed about three million people and banned the Communist Party of Indonesia in a bid to silence it forever. It was later revealed that the CIA was behind the conspiracy and the American government provided extensive lists of communists to Indonesian death squads.

However, despite all the killing, all the torture, all the imprisonment and all the repression, the ideas of Marxism have run through the history of the working class movement in Indonesia like a backbone and the Communist Party of Indonesia has risen up again to lead the downtrodden masses in Indonesia towards emancipation.

We are more delighted as our party, the JVP, had to confront similar situation in Sri Lanka. We were crushed twice, on false charges, but were able to rise up from the ashes and today we are the strongest left party in the country.

We are confident that the 1st Party Congress will serve as a historic landmark in developing the Communist Party of Indonesia into a party that serves the Indonesian people and would be a beacon to the progressive masses all over the world. It will mark a brilliant page in the long history of the great party that played a leading role in the creation of non aligned movement, was the third-largest in the world  and is now tempered with experiences of rising from three attempts by local reactionaries and international imperialism to annihilate party comrades in a bid to silence it for ever.

Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna wholeheartedly wishes that the Indonesian people lead by the Communist Party of Indonesia will achieve new and ever greater successes and victories along the path that would be shown by the 1st Party Congress.

We wish the 1st Party Congress of the Communist Party of Indonesia a great success.

We are very pleased to hear that Patai Komunis Indonesia is preparing its first congress in 50 years. We are aware of the very difficult conditions for the work of PKI. The murder of millions of Indonesian Communists in the sexties is a great tragedy and severely weakened the international Communist movement. We are also aware of the difficult conditions PKI have met efter the murders and until now. We hope that conditions in Indonesia will eventually make it possible for PKI to work openly. We find it important that the crimes af the Suharto government and its cooperation with the world’s greatest imperialist power becomes commonly known.

 

It is likewise important that the persecution and harassment of your party, its members and followers is brought to an end. We are sure that the international Communist movement will do its best to support the development of the Patai Komunis Indonesia and its possibility to work in the open in Indonesia. Communists have many tasks to perform: The figth against imperialism and exploitation; the fight for peace; the fight for the working peoples rights, for democracy and socialism.

 

We do wish you a constructive congress with good discussions and look forward to study the objectives your congress will lay down

To Communist Party of Indonesia. 

Dear Comrades! 

The Communist Party of Albania and the albanian communists congratulate the indonesian communists for their First Party Congres, which will develope both on 17th and 18th June 2016.

In 1966 when in your country was lau ched the fasciat reaction on communists with an unprecedented genocide, Enver Hoxha had written:
The Communist Party of indonesia was grew and developed as a marxist-leninist party in a fierce battle against both external and internal enemies, after heavy attacs, by the reactio. received in 1927 and in 1948, when thousands were masacred, the communist, the Comunist Party of Indonesia bounced back by fighting and trying until it became such a force, which from the Party's member it represanted the largest Communist Party in the Capitalist Countries. 

There is no doubt that it again, even after the big losses that is experiencing now, little through a war of bold, revolutionary Marxist-Leninist consecuences, it wil recover.

Enver Hoxha's forecast was realized. Today Your Communist Party shall develope it's First Congres, which fills us woth confidence, that our communist way is unstoppable. 

As you may be aware, after the death of our unforgettable Leader Enver Hoxha, in 1985, both the revolutionar and socialist system in our country, was betrayed by the higher Party's Nomenclature, which brought to power in 1990 the old bourgeois class and its ofshoots, which have turned the Albania into a vasal of europian and international imperilism. 

In front of this situation it was put the Socialist Party of Albania, which was organized in 1991 as the direct heirs of the Party, founded in 1941 and leaded with glory by Enver Hoxha for 44 years. 

Our facing is difficult, but we will stand firm on the road and communist ideals inharited from our unforgettable Leader, being confident that our victory wil not delay. 

Wishing you once again, we assure you that the albanian communist, will be on the same side of the class war trenches for socialism and communism.
