PKI support towards the liberation of the Philippines

As the Communist Party of Indonesia, we stand in solidarity with our comrades in the Philippines and offer our unwavering support to the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) in their struggle against the neo-colonialist regime of BongBong Marcos.

The resurgence of the Marcos regime poses a grave threat not only to the Filipino people but also to the wider struggle against imperialism and exploitation in the region. The Marcos family's history of brutality, corruption, and collaboration with foreign powers is a stark reminder of the pernicious influence of imperialism and neo-colonialism in the Philippines.

Under the guise of democracy, the Marcos regime seeks to entrench its power and perpetuate the exploitation of the Filipino people for the benefit of a privileged few. Through repression, censorship, and state-sponsored violence, the regime seeks to crush dissent and silence any opposition to its rule.

However, history has shown us that the Filipino people are resilient and steadfast in their determination to fight for their rights and freedoms. From the dark days of martial law to the present, the CPP and its armed wing, the New People's Army (NPA), have been at the forefront of the struggle for national liberation and social justice.

In the face of escalating repression and state violence, it is imperative that we stand shoulder to shoulder with our comrades in the Philippines and offer them our full support. By building solidarity across borders and uniting in common cause, we can amplify our collective voices and strengthen our movements against imperialism and neo-colonialism.

The struggle against the Marcos regime is not just a Filipino struggle; it is a struggle for all oppressed peoples around the world. As long as imperialism and exploitation continue to exist, none of us are truly free. Together, we can build a better world based on solidarity, equality, and socialism.
